I bought soup in the airport in Sydney when I first arrived, and asked for crackers. Reply was, "Crackers? You won't get those 'til Guy Fawkes day, I reckon". I lived there quite a while before the whole cookie/cracker/biscuit/scone twist resolved itself. And I was there for Guy Fawkes day - it was great. Australia is fantastic...
